Five things that I'm happy about this week are:
1. School's out for summer! This afternoon, I finished my big move to my new kindergarten classroom and did my final checkout with my assistant principal. This move was an excellent time to get rid of the junk I've accumulated since my last classroom move six years ago.
2. My dad's retirement luncheon is on Saturday. He is retiring after being a police officer for 35 (or is it 36?) years. We've got a big surprise in store for him! More on that later!
Congrats Pops!
3. Jenni's wedding shower was a success! Everyone was very complimentary and I felt like things went very smoothly. More on that soon, also!
The bride-to-be and me!
4. Our basement and laundry room project is finally finished. Now it's time for me to get creative with my decorating skills!
5. No alarm clock for the next eight weeks or so! I can't sleep in too late anymore, but I feel so much more rested in the morning when I don't have to wake up to an alarm clock. Does anyone else feel this way?
Happy Thursday!
